We enter in mourning;
For structures now hollow,
Missing life and love,
Still longing to be lifted to holiness.

Struggling, we turn to new ways.
Old ways, no longer effective,
Must be destroyed.
Feeling the pain of loss
For what they meant to us.

We turn the corner, and start to rebuild;
To fill our hearts
With life and love
And holiness in each moment.

We turn toward each other, and start to create
Worship that connects,
Service that serves.
Feeling the joy of partnership.
Bringing meaning to our lives
In relationship with You.
